Peace And Quiet.

One hundred years on from the Great War. There is a lot about
this mindless bloodbath on TV and the media at this time.
Trench warfare had to have been the most idiotic way to
attempt to win a war.
The end scene from the film ‘O What A Lovely War’ literally
shows that.

Peace And Quiet.

‘Remembering the fallen 1914-1918’
Written in stone o’er the old battle scene,
Look, see the rows of crosses, white upon green,
Each one a damning reminder of what might have been.
