As the miserable and manacled Manafort leaves the Court
Donald offers this fine felon his sympathetic support;
Doesn’t offering comfort to a fraud set to serve a lifetime
Seem at odds with the presidents hard line on crime?
It depends if your collars
Lily white or sweat-soaked blue,
And if you have millions of dollars
And Don can forgive- or pardon- you.
But mention his cheap lawyer and Don has not a word,
No thanks to Mike for the good services he procured,
Shouldn’t Don be screaming blue murder and high treason?
Its so disquieting seeing Don display rectitude, with reason.
For what might Mueller’s mob learn
Should they happen to turn the worm?
Might Mikes words make Dons ears burn,
Or worse, lock in the Prez for another term?
Funnily I never thought the President was a funny ha ha bloke
But now the laugh’s on me, heh heh, and, seriously, l get the joke,
Hee hee, he’s hysterical, he changes history with one Master stroke-
He gathers the gullible, has a giggle to himself, then simply says ‘I misspoke.’
Don’s dishing out presidential pardons willy-nilly,
Forgiving old felonious friends at will and at whim,
But mention faithful old Mueller and Don grows chilly-
Chances of Don forgiving Bob are infinitesimally slim.
Questions of his hot Stormy affair are also met frostily
As his ardour and memories of her mammaries begin to dim,
So Don won’t dismiss Ms Kardashians request as frivolously silly,
Though part of the deal will be having to twerk for it, Kim.
The poor hard done-by hounded witch-hunted president
is grateful his big-shot New York shyster lawyer’s so prescient,
Rudy completely agrees with what Don’s said all along-
The president, or at least this one, can do no wrong.
There’s only one verdict that’s reachable,
This presidents word is unimpeachable.
Should some scandal appear wherin Don might be involved
Don can be pardoned by the president, and problem absolved!
It matters not one jot what evidence Mueller eventually presents,
Giuliani’s ‘Get Out Of Jail’ card gives his client a rock-solid defence.
God knows its a delusion to think he’ll ever resign
Now Don knows to err is human, to forgive, divine.
So, Dons gone and pardoned Sheriff Joe,
Old man Arpaio has come out smiling,
For old white Republicans it just goes to show
Don sees no guilt in racial profiling.
Don and Joe don’t mind ignoring Law and Order
Because friends must look out for friends,
But if you’re a poor illegal on the wrong side of the border
You know exactly where Don and Joes rule-bending ends.
How now will the patriotic defenders of democracy regard Don?
What of his witterings on his Divine/Presidential right to pardon?
A call on which both Jeff and Don Junior most deafeningly agree?
I believe I heard Don perfectly clearly, but if I didn’t, pardon me.
