There’s social distancing and then there’s anti-social dipsticks. Another sad but true story.

Easter Eggs.

I went for a contemplative stroll this Easter weekend,
Round our slow lazy river I thought I’d quietly wend,
Then three dumb asses came roaring round the bend.

Three Bandidos blasted past, patched and proud,
Three buddies passing a pipe- that’s not allowed.

It was Mesrrs Harley and Davidson plus their Indian friend,
It’s an unmuffled and strident message those bad boys send,
Just what part of ‘quiet Easter weekend’ can’t they comprehend?

A party of three, in days when three’s a crowd?
Three Bandidos two many, and too fucking loud.

(Egg is a Kiwi term for a dipstick/dipshit/dickhead/dropkick, etc.)

  1. The Three Amigos could put
    The Three Banditos in their place
    But alas, the Three Amigos
    Have no Chevy to give Chase.

    Steve has an Aston Martin
    But he’s such a worry wart
    He never drives it anywhere,
    Leaving them one Martin Short.

    1. Great wordplay, well played! I appreciate it mucho. This is a quick, if poor response;
      I, like Chase Martin and Short
      Hold my personal safety near and dear,
      I held my tongue, offered no stinging retort;
      Still, they left me glumly, dumbly, holding a bleeding ear.

  2. I’m going to admit right away that I can’t compete with mistermuse’s comment contribution. He wins handily; I can’t even get into first gear.

    But I will say that you should come visit South Dallas for comparative purposes. We have bandidos and blasting and pipe-passing and dumb-asses falling from the trees. And that’s just the city council. The joy never, ever ends… 😉

    1. There’s that one% that just won’t play nice. Loud and pissy, but not nice. And I feel for you approaching your ever helpful council with a complaint form… Mr Muse is in fine form, I agree.

    1. Thanks, I see you’re at an early stage of your writing career- enjoy your writing, words are a constant lifetime companion, I try to see humour in things, I try for the nice, somehow it usually takes a sardonic turn! But I do try for a smile
